SAMCEF Linear Statics can easily take into account small sliding contact conditions. A rich set of macros lets you define contact between node and rigid foundation or node and rigid surface as well as between two flexible parts. You can use sub-structuring technique within SAMCEF or by import-export from or to main commercial codes. SAMCEF Linear Statics lets you apply any kind of nodal or distributed loads. It enables you to take into account second order effects like geometric stiffness due to a pre-stress or centrifugal force effect. Coupled with a SAMCEF Thermal analysis or using a predefined temperature field, you can calculate thermal stresses. An efficient sequential and parallel solver is available that enable the treatment of very large models.
