LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim offers a wide range of customization capabilities. Users can create their own customized Graphic User Interfaces ( GUIs) for pre- and post-processing directly attached to models by means of convenient Application Assistants. LMS Imagine.Lab AMESim supports Python as User Interface framework for creating customized component or model interface. Customization is also possible via the Model Properties. For instance, it is possible to attach meta-data to AMESim models that come from other software environments involved in the typical workflow. Users can thus use their specific classifications or terminology. This meta-data can then be accessed via custom scripting or GUIs, allowing managing component properties in the exact same way engineers are used to. Model Properties with Meta-Data AMESim enables to associate any type of meta-data with sketches or components: numbers, simple or rich text, dates, files or images. It is possible to access or modify these documents easily by clicking on the corresponding models. For custom applications, this information attached to components can be handled by scripting or GUI filters. For easier management of these properties, AMESim offers both a contextual and a global view. These Model Properties provide a better link between models and the corresponding real systems.
