SAMCEF Dynamic Response computes time response, forced harmonic response and shock spectrum response. Excitation includes prescribed loads and motions, initial positions, initial speeds. Function of time or frequency, the loads description can be directly created or imported from Excel Files. All dampings are available: viscous, modal, hysteretic, local.
You can use modal or direct methods and take into account second order effects resulting from the loads as, for example, a pre-stressed field due to mechanical or thermal loads.
SAMCEF Dynamic Response includes a complete choice of monolayer or multilayer elements whose material can be isotropic, orthotropic, anisotropic or composite. Elements, combined or not, can be solid, shells, membrane, plane stresses, plane strains or axisymmetric.
SAMCEF Dynamic Response allows sub-structuring or Super-Elements, repetitive structures and Fluid-Structure Interaction. Super-Elements can be exchanged with non-linear solver as well as with the other known commercial codes.
SAMCEF Dynamic Response allows many types of behavior using springs, bushing, bearing, point masses, rigid bodies, linear constraints, etc. You can work on very large meshes and use very efficient algorithms.
