SAMCEF Non-Linear Structure enables you to model large displacements and deformations of structures defined by assembly of different components. Many material laws are available to define the structure properties: linear, elasto-plastic, viscoplastic, viscoelastic, hyperelastic, composite ( including delamination and damage) specific laws or user-defined laws. All material parameters can be temperature dependent. The assembly between the components is defined through gluing or contact friction conditions ( e.g. fastener) . Building better models produce results that have never been closer to reality. Decrease design costs and duration, decrease potential failures and breakdowns and increase both your products reliability and your customer’ s satisfaction thanks to our edge cutting technology. Coupled with the definition of kinematical joints in a Finite Element formulation ( included in SAMCEF Non-Linear Motion) , non-linear flexible mechanisms including meshed components can be analysed. This solution improves the accuracy of vibrations, allow for stress computation inside components without the need to chain results from a pure multi-body tool to a pure non-linear tool. Features You can properly assess the full mechanical phenomena, even when are included thermal effects, kinematics and dynamics effects of flexible and material hardening.
