Based on the most advanced numerical integrators, the AMESim integration algorithms support ordinary differential equation ( ODE) and differential algebraic equations ( DAE) . The solver automatically and dynamically selects the best-adapted calculation method, depending on the dynamics of the system, among 17 available algorithms. In addition, the Performance Analyzer provides users with a comprehensive and easy-to-use set of graphical utilities for in-depth monitoring of the simulation performance. AMESim comes also along with the Parallel Processing and the Discrete Partitioning facilities, to take advantage of multi-processor, multi-thread or multi-core machines and to reduce computation times on very large systems. Product Description Performance Analyzer The Performance Analyzer offers a set of facilities for in-depth monitoring of the simulation performance. It provides users with valuable statistics on the simulation performance ( CPU time, integration steps and number of Jacobians, function evaluations or discontinuities processed … ) . It allows to clearly identify which state variables can be looked after to speed-up your simulation. Parallel Processing: CPU maximization Thanks to new technologies appearing at highly reduced costs ( multi-core computers, clusters… ) , Parallel Processing can succeed in performing distributed computing with a reasonable investment. This facility can also be used to take advantage of multi-processor or multi-core machines. This makes it possible to solve long-running and computationally intensive problems, especially when large independent data sets are involved. This results in a significant speed-up of simulation runs. Discrete Partitioning Discrete Partitioning is a technique that can lead to drastic run-time reductions for certain types of hydraulic systems, such as fuel injection, automatic gearbox command, and ABS. Discrete Partitioning uses genuine physical discrete communication to produce a model that is suitable for co-simulation without accuracy loss. It takes advantage of wave propagation physics in hydraulic lines.
